SILEX 8000 was awarded with ‘very good’ in RadFahren magazine test

In the recently published gravel bike test of the German magazine RadFahren (02/2025) our SILEX 8000 impressed not only with its liveliness and sporty character but also with its first-class handling characteristics. All this, plus a few more highlights, was rewarded by the magazine with an impressive 'very good' (1.4) test score.

The frame platform was particularly praised: "The carbon frame is built to a very high standard and has a powerful look with very straight, but not exaggeratedly jagged edges," said the test team. They also commented on the fully integrated cables, saying they "fit in perfectly" and "show off the tapered head tube" beautifully. With plenty of frame-mounted rack options, gravel tyres, and an Easton flared handlebar, the SILEX is "made for gravel adventures". The mounted gravel handlebars, with their ergonomic shape and width, ensure "the best control on fast descents, quick changes of direction and powerful acceleration". A 'sophisticated GRX Di2' drivetrain' shifts gears crisply and precisely, while 'GRX brakes' with 180mm discs provide reliable stopping power and 'controlled braking'. The sporty SILEX wins with a "superb combination of speed and endurance comfort".
